A Kubernetes cluster can be run in a HA mode with three master nodes, so that the cluster remains operational if one of the nodes fails. In the creation wizard, you can now tick the High-availability cluster checkbox when selecting master node parameters.
If a master node fails, the cluster is switched to the
unhealthy
state but keeps therunning
status. If an Elastic IP is assigned the failed master node, it is automatically reassigned to one of the remaining nodes. In this case, the cluster is first switched to theunhealthy
state with thepending
status and returns to therunning
status after the Elastic IP is reassigned to another master node.An instance creation wizard now has a new Network step enabling you to configure the network interface settings and parameters.
The Network interfaces and Subnets sections have been updated to reflect the ability to connect multiple network interfaces to an instance.
Instance placement groups can now be changed in the web interface also.
Fixed#
Before creating a Kubernetes cluster, the possibility to assign an Elastic IP to the network interface is checked.
If the instance primary interface is connected to a switch, it is excluded from the Detach switch dialog of the Instances section.
