Billing#
In this section, you can view tariff details, manage service subscriptions, set up regular and build custom reports, and subscribe to billing events.
Tariff#
To get information about the tariff in use, select the Tariff section in the menu. Tariff information is grouped by resource type (instances, volumes, networks, etc.). In addition, you can manage subscriptions in this section.
Reports#
Reports contain a complete set of available data on costs and usage of company resources in K2 Cloud.
You can use regular detailed reports generated by the billing system, or you can build your own reports broken down by day or month in the selected format and with the required level of detail.
Regular reports#
Regularly uploading detailed reports on resource consumption can help you analyze costs and manage workflows. Through S3 API, you can extract structured data from a CSV file and use it in your analytical systems.
To enable the upload of regular detailed reports, click Setup regular export.
When configuring regular reports, you can select an existing bucket or create a new one.
A report is stored in the bucket as a .csv file. Each time a report is uploaded from the billing system, the cloud-first checks the bucket you specified when configuring the report. If you accidentally delete the target bucket, the cloud will create it automatically, and the report will not be lost.
You can disable regular uploading or change the bucket for storing reports at any time.
Note
Reports will be uploaded to the object storage bucket every day at 10:00 (UTC+03:00). The storage of billing reports is charged at the same rate as object storage. Daily regular reports do not contain information from the previous report. Using BucketLifecycle, you can create report lifecycle policies, which automate report storage and deletion.
User reports#
Unlike regular reports to upload custom reports, you must build, download and move them to analytical systems on your own.
To create a request for a report on your own, click Build and fill out the form, indicating the start and end dates of the reporting period, the format of the file to be returned and the level of detail.
Once the request status changes to Ready, the report file is available for downloading. To do this, select the report and click Download.
Notifications#
In the Notifications subsection, you can configure the sending of notifications when the specified spending limit for a day, week, month or quarter is exceeded. Such notifications allow you to control resource consumption and protect your company against cost overruns.
