Changes#

  • Resources in VPCs in different K2 Cloud regions can be interconnected via an inter-region VPN connection. By default, a high availability connection is created. The default settings can be modified if necessary.

  • The Cluster Autoscaler service allows you to scale up/down node groups in a Kubernetes cluster. As load changes, the service automatically adds nodes to the cluster or removes no-longer-needed ones.

  • The monitoring service helps monitor VPN tunnel and VPN connection parameters, including tunnel and connection status, amount of received/transmitted data, etc. For metrics, you can create an alarm and configure notifications.

  • The Kubernetes clusters service now supports the latest versions: 1.33.1, 1.32.5, and 1.31.9. Versions 1.25, 1.26, 1.27, 1.28, and 1.29 are no longer supported.

  • In the Installed services section, you can change the PaaS service instance type.

  • Projects in the drop-down lists are sorted by the Name tag.

API#

  • The progress attribute in the EC2 API’s Volume data type returns the volume creation progress (as a percentage) when an instance is restored from a recovery point.

  • The ModifyInstanceType method in the PaaS API allows you to modify an instance type.

Fixed#

  • Instances can be attached to an Auto Scaling group only if not already in another group.

  • When creating an alarm for EC2/EFS metrics, the metric check period must be set greater or equal to 2 minutes.

  • The number of accepted BGP routes may not exceed 1,000.

  • In the File systems section, the search for mount point by IP address is fixed.

Changes#

  • The new Traffic Mirroring service can copy all traffic or its part via the network interface and can integrate with various open-source traffic analysis tools.

  • When creating a volume, the st3 type is selected by default.

  • The volume creation progress is displayed in the Status field in the volume properties.

  • Along with the backup vault information, the last vault integrity check date and time are displayed.

  • The Delete with instance volume attribute can be modified after the instance creation.

API#

  • The DescribeBackupVault method in the Backup API now returns the last vault integrity check date and time.

  • The ModifyInstanceAttribute method in the EC2 API allows you to modify the DeleteOnTermination attribute for attached volumes.

Fixed#

  • To view metrics for a certain period, you can select a period of no more than 1 week.

  • The bucket search results display the full names of objects.

  • The instance table displays the name of the image from which the instance was created.

  • Network addresses used when creating VPCs, subnets, and routes in route tables, including transit gateway route tables, must not overlap with the 169.254.0.0/16 subnet.
