Contains metadata of a KMS key.

Contents#

  • CreationDate — The date and time when the KMS key was created.

    • Type: Timestamp

    • Required: Yes

  • DeletionDate — The date and time after which the KMS key will be deleted. Included in the response when the key is in the PendingDeletion state.

    • Type: Timestamp

    • Required: No

  • Description — The description of the KMS key.

    • Type: String

    • Required: Yes

    • Length constraints: From 0 to 8192 characters

  • Enabled — Indicates whether the KMS key is in the Enabled state.

    • Type: Boolean

    • Required: Yes

  • KeyId — The ID of the KMS key.

    • Type: String

    • Required: Yes

  • KeyManager — The KMS key management type. A KMS key can be managed by the cloud or by the user.

    • Type: String

    • Required: Yes

    • Valid values: CLOUD | CUSTOMER

  • KeySpec — The KMS key type.

    • Type: String

    • Required: Yes

    • Valid values: SYMMETRIC_DEFAULT

  • KeyState — The current state of the KMS key.

    • Type: String

    • Required: Yes

    • Valid values: Enabled | Disabled | PendingDeletion
